We purchased the Vetel Envision 1210 DR system in August 2010 after our equine imaging clinic's 10 year old DR system crashed unexpectedly. We contacted Jeff Fishel of Vetel who promptly arrived with a demo system and got us out of a bind. We purchased the system a few days later. Besides excellent image quality, the service we've received has been fast, friendly, and accurate. The system has proved easy to learn and use both in the clinic and in the field. All ENVISION DR systems feature full 14 bit images (that’s after the A/D conversion). What does that mean to you? At the center of the ENVISION series is our best selling ENVISION 1210. This is the perfect system for the equine practitioner. With a full 14”x17” imaging area, dynamic range of 16,384 shades of gray,, you’ll get both a larger view and more diagnostic content per image. Fully DICOM 3.0 compliant and equipped with Metron DR acquisition and viewing software, the ENVISION 1417 comes with equine and small animal measurement & planning modules; species and technique specific algorithms; bone density analysis, and customizable reports.
