A bit depth of 65,536 shades of gray produces the highest contrast resolution of any DR panel in the world. The result is image detail and differences in tissue densities that give you the ability to detect subtle lesions earlier. The Cesium Iodide Structured Phosphor Scintillator has a higher sensitivity and higher resolution than other flat panel detectors so the additional radiographic data made available via bit depth, is more accessible to the viewer at a lower dose than other flat panel detectors. 

Free from the restraint of cables you will experience a smoother work flow and a safer environment. Remote use from the DR station facilitates use in surgery or emergency environments and makes radiographic imaging accessible from multiple locations throughout the hospital.

In addition to wireless capabilities and world-class imaging, the EMPOWER 
Wireless DR system is designed around a suite of Metron software developed 
exclusively for Vetel. Metron DR acquires raw images from the wireless panel 
and processes them according to a unique set of veterinary specific and 
custom pre-set algorithms while Metron DVM provides calibration tools, 
reports and additional viewing capabilities.
