All Vetel Diagnostics DR systems come with a unique suite of Metron software. Exclusive Metron DR is at the heart of your image acquisition system. Metron DR processes images using state of the art wavelet filtering techniques only recently developed in the imaging community. These advanced imaging algorithms were developed specifically for veterinarians and can only be found on Vetel Diagnostic's DR systems. Metron's filters are are also customizable. Each user can make alterations to each filter and save the settings under their own name ensuring they can return to the look that most appeals to them.
Metron can be used with images from any system, which makes it possible to integrate this EQUINE & COMPANION ANIMAL SPECIFIC software as your workstation PACS Solution. With it's built in DICOM receiver, image importing/exporting tools, precise angle measurements with guided NORBERG HIP ANGLES, VERTEBRAL HEART SCORES, and HOOF MARKUP SCORING, you will increase your skills as a veterinarian the day you start using it. It is super easy to use and will give you diagnostic information you aren't used to seeing, in an instant.
All images are organized in
Metron's search-able database and may easily be pulled up later for
review, side-by-side comparison, e-mailing, printing, or burning to a CD
or DVD.
Metron's calibration and measurement and mark-up tools
mean that you get the most out of the images that you acquire. These
marked-up images can be formed into reports for clients or colleagues.
By
supporting DICOM communications, Metron can fetch Modality Work-lists
from practice management software, Metron can receive images sent from
other sources via the DICOM protocol, and Metron can send images
anywhere across the internet, e.g. for a remote referral.
Beyond
just great images, Metron can be used for a wide range of applications
and situations, ranging from ongoing health maintenance to pre-purchase
exams. With its patented 'guided mark-up', Metron allows a standard way
to measure the angles of the equine hoof, or to check for enlarged
heart in cats and dogs, or to do pre-surgical planning for TPLO and
other procedures.
Image Calibration Matters!
An image is worth a thousand words
and an accurately calibrated image is worth much more! You spent a
great deal of money on your CR or DR imaging system -- wouldn't you like
to be able to make an accurate measurement on those images?
Metron lets you calibrate your images so you can make meaningful measurements within them.
